Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert just noticed that right wing policies haven't been resulting in peace or making Israel safer. Or more precisely, now that he's stepping down, he feels free to tell the truth that's so obvious to so many Israelis, and to Jews around the world, as well as billions Muslims, Palestinians, people of color, black and white South Africans, and President Jimmy Carter. Olmert Says Israel Should Pull Out of West Bank
We face the need to decide but are not willing to tell ourselves, yes, this is what we have to do. We will leave a percentage of these territories in our hands, but will have to give the Palestinians a similar percentage, because without that there will be no peace.
